Last month we had our very first FreeStyle shoot. It was a fabulous collaboration between our Kensington makeup and hair artists and local Vendors: Kym Ventola Photography, Gowns provided by JennyVi Dizon Couture, and wardrobe styling by Jill DeAndrea from Impeccable Eye.

The FreeStyle shoot was such a success, that we plan on having one at the beginning of every month!

We are constantly bombarded my the media to tell us what beauty really is... We aspire to be just like the celebrities and models in the magazines... testing the fad diets, plastic surgery, and sometimes resorting to other methods of calorie reduction.

Our perception of body image is so distorted because what we see day to day on the news stands are in fact distorted images of reality.

Photoshop is an amazing tool ... but it is overly abused.

Combine your Makeup and Hair Trial with your Engagement Photos Sessions!

If you are planning far enough in advance, you can combine your hair and makeup trial with your engagement photo session. This will give you a preview of how your wedding day makeup and hair will photograph ...

Now you are probably thinking I don't want to spoil my wedding hair and makeup for my enagement photos... no problem, Ask your artist ahead of time if they could switch it up after the trial for your photos (some artists may charge an additional fee, so we recommend that you ask ahead of time ... but if you hire a Kensington Artist, we will make the switch free of charge).
